The Pew Research Center does regular polling on a variety of issues, including the energy kind. And just released Pew polling data on the public’s attitude toward fracking reveals something very interesting. Last March a Pew poll found that Americans approved of fracking by 10 points, 48-38%. The just released poll found that they oppose it, 47-41%.
